MEETING AT WAIHOU.

A meeting of trustees and those .interested in the management,-of the Waihou Public Hall was held on Friday evening last, the 6th inst. Mr O’Donoghue in the chair. . - After‘a short discussion it was resolved on the motion of Mr Parr, seconded by-Mr Cribb, that a wqrking committee be appointed to look after the Hall. The following gentlemen were elected : Messrs Thaxter, Taylor, Parr, llorrie, Cribb.;, It was moved by Mr Voysey, and carried, that the outgoing committee be asked to resign 5 It was decided.that Sir B- Parr lay the matter before a solicitor, with power to act in the matter.The fee for the uSe of the the Hall up to 10 o’clock fixed at ss; those using same. • v* ; Mr Parr was Authorised to make arrangements re insurance.
