THE MARTHA BEEF PENETRATED In the low level of the Waihi mine the Martha reef has now been cut through, and although the point of intersection is not in the widest section, the reef is fully 18 feet thick. In putting through the drive samples \yerb taken out, and several assays made, and the general average, ' including, the poor section of the lode, is over 16 dwts of pure gold to the ton. There is now in , sight good . ore for many years’ crushing in; the ,Waihi mine, and this magnificient property will be able to maintain, if not increase, its splendid dividends to shareholders.«
