DISGRACEFUL SCENE AT THE ... 1 FUNERAL V,; . j A HOSTILE MOB THE MILITARY CALLED OUT Sofia, July 21. Disgraceful scenes occurred at M. Stambouloff’s funeral. Representatives, of all the diplomatic corps attended. . ■ When the cortege reached the spot wheie the es-Premior was murdered, the cry was raised of ‘ Run for yourlivery’ and the mourners fled in alldirections, trampling down children who' wore — A crowd of the dead man’s enemies and the late Major Panitza’s friends barred the way to the cemetary, and the f cavalry had to be employed to disperse them. It was impossible to conduct the usual prayers at the grave, and the body was lowered ’to its last resting place admist hoots and hurrahs from the mob..
' Sofia,' July 4 22. The funeral procession of M. Starnbouloff was twice attacked, and most of the mourners fled. The Cavalry defended the grave with drawn swords. ■
