The ordinary monthly meeting of the Domain Board was held on Saturday, the 4th ir*st. Present: Messrs Gavin (chairman), E. Gallagher, Hotchin, Hetherington, and Bradley. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed." Correspondence. — From Auckland School re the excursion to Te Aroha. From the Secretary of Band, asking if their services would be required for a further period,.. Mr Gavin reported what .had been done to entertain the .excursionists. That the children had been given free baths, and that everybody was well pleased 1 withtheiKputing. • Chairman ihoyediind Mr Gallagher! seconded, that the Guide books b“ obtained and delivered by Ist October. Mr Hetherington moved as an amendment, that the matter be allowed to drop; , This was not seconded. The motion was then earned. Monthly Staotiicent. —Receip ta.— Baths, £42 9s j tennis,' 10s; library, £1; towels, £4 Os 6d. Total, £4B 6s. Expenditure—£4o 13s 4d. Considerable- disonssipn took place re the Band account for £lO 12s. The clerk read the agreement with the Band to the effect that the engagement was for 10s per week for three months from October Ist, 1894. Finally it was resolved that the matter was left for the Chairman to arrange. - - Accounts amounting to £4O lSe 4d were passed for payment.
