THE WAIHI RETURN.

ANOTHER GOOD MONTH. Yesterday the return from the Waihi mine for the past month was received in Auckland, and shows an average of over £3 8s per ton from the ore treated. For the 28 days ending the 6tli inst, 2130 tons of ore were crushed and treated by cyanide, yielding £7250 worth of bullion. The work carried on was upon the poorer section of the mine, and therefore the return is a splendid one. In about a mouth from the present time the additional 30 head of stampers, now in course of erection, will be running, when the returns may be expected to show a very large increase, as there is abund - anee of good ore in sight to keep the mill fully employed.
