A DARING ROBBERY.
A very peculiar and (daring robbery, or ease of breaking and entering, occurred on Saturday night or Sunday morning, at tho 'Bricklayers’ Arms, Ohapel-street, of which Mr James Verrill is licensee. .. Mr Terrill closed at ten o’clock on Saturday night. In closing and locking up the bar ho loft £2 10s iu silver in it, and took tho keys with six £l notes, a sover'gn, and three halfsovereigns, and placed them on the top of a chest of drawers in his bedroom. A leather purse with one £5nota, four single notes, and four halfsovereigns he left in his trousers pocket by his bod-side. On getting out of hi’s bod in the morning he found tho money on the top of the chest of drawers and also in his packet gone, arid also the keys of -he till.
