THOMPSON'S TRACK.
RESULT OF BALLOT A ballot was taken yesterday morning for men to be employed on Thompson’s Track, which i 3 to be carried out under the co-operative system. The result was as follows :—Te Aroha : Biggs, Reed, Bygrave, Niehoboi, Bew, Gordon, Gallagher, Coul oi, Murphy, J. Wallace, Maingay. Waihou:—Collins, Ryan, Burbage, McGuire, W. Collins, Keesing, Matthew. Waiorongomai Donovan, Southey, Bindon, O’Keefe, Hill, Hickey. It was decided by those who have the picking and choosing to employ the first six in each district We understand the work will be, gone on with immediately.
