TE AROHA.
Prospecting Association. —An enthusiastic meeting was held at the Hot Springs Hotel on Saturday evening last, the 16th inst., Mr J. Mills in the chair, when the Cadman Prospecting Association was formed. It consists of 25 members, but treble that number could have been obtained, in fact a number of persons were disappointed in beingtoolate in applying for. shares. Messrs Murphy, Bennington, Taylor, and Cookson are a Committee to oversee the prospecting; and Messrs Mills* Mclndoe, and Livesey, a Financial Committee. Messrs Andrew and Jeffrey started work on Monday on behalf of the Association, and will first try the ground between the Loyalty and the Palace mines. Ttn Mines.— At present very little is being done in these mines, but we learn that Work will be resumed as soon as a satisfactory process is found to treat the ore. y ■<.
