Messrs. A. Buckhmd and Son’s Weekly Report : —At the hide and skin alo on Tuesday hides of all classes wore better worth. Skins fully kept late values and mostly ranged from 4s to 5s lOd each ; heavy ox hides, to mediums, 3Jd ; cow and light ox, lid to 2£d; calf skins, 3id to 4i the lb ; tallow 16s to 17s Gd the cwt. At Kemuora, on Thursday, dairy eat tie were dull of sale, and several passed ; those sold ranged from L2 to L 4 each, Stoie cattle in forward condition were in demand at full values. A pen of lour-year-old steers brought L 4 7s, and dry cows L2 each, but backward cattle were comparatively at low values. Thirty-four two to three year old steers sold for L2 13s each. Fat cattle, in full number, were lower in price tl m last week fully Is Gd the lOOIbs; 17s was the ruling vulue tor good oxen, and course or inferior at a lower price. A moderate market of sheep were also lower in price than last week. Fat twotooth ewes were from 10s 9d to 12s 9d ; two tooth wethers averaged 12s 9d ; four-tooth wethers from 14s to j7s; lambs, 5s Gd to 8s Gd. Pigs were plentiful ; those fairly bred kept late values, but coarse pigs were almost unsaleable.
