Mr C. J. Penfold, the Secretary of the Canterbury Jockey Club, has written to the Auckland Racing Club informing them of the alteration in the date of holding their Summer Meeting. It is suggested by Mr Penfold that in the interests of racing the A.R.C. will see fit to shift the date of the Spring Meeting to about the middfe of November (instead of the 9th and 10th November) as at present.
