RICH DISCOVERY REPORTED FROM WHANGAREI. Another discovery of rich auriferous ore is reported from s Puhipuhi. In Whangarei the rumour is that assays have given returns of over 60oz gold and 18oz silver. Galbraith on being questioned to, day,.stated that lie had a record of nu assay made on 23rd May, of ore giving 68oz ISdwts gold and SOoz silver to ton. The ore was given to him as coming from Puhipuhi.
