THE TRADES AND LABOUR COUNCIL. TROUBLE BREWING AT WELLINGTON. The Trades and Labour Council have desided to insist on the Tramway Company accepting the same terms as the Bus Company, namely, 66 hours per week for grooms and 72 for guards ; the wages for drivers to be 45s per week ; for guards 20s to 25s ; grooms 40s to 455. The minimum only to apply to new and unskilled hands. The Council consider the scheme proposed by the Tramway owners as visionary and unstable, and intend if necessary to enforce the adoption of their proposals. BARMAID FOUND DROWNED. The body of a young woman, Delia Lanahan, barmaid, was found floating in the harbour this morning. She is supposed' to have . been accidentally drowned.
