The new steamer Monowai, which left for Sydney this evening, took 205 passengers, being the full number allowed by law. FOUND DEAD. Charles Milan, an elderly man, was fouim dead in the room which he occupied at tiie Old Clanricardo Hotel. LETTERS VIA SUEZ IN THIRTY SEVEN DAYS. The letters via Suez route were delivered in Auckland to-day, thirty-seven days from l.ondon. This is running the San Francisch service closely, SUPREME COURT SITTING. There was a short sitting of the Supreme Court this afternoon, before Mr Jjtsiitee Conolly, under the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act, when two applications for decree absolute were granted as follows :—George Skipper (petitioner). Emily Jane Skipper (respondent), and Fred Clay (co-respon-dent); John Henry Taylor (petitioner) v. Lucy Taylor (respondent).
