WORK RESUMED AT KAMO COLLIERY. REPORTED SALE OF THE PROPERTY. Work at the Kamo Colliery has been resumed., There is a report current that the Colliery property has been sold to an English capitalist who has a thorough knowledge of black diamonds ; and it is stated that he will arrive in the colony within the next two months to take possession of the property. The local agent says there is no foundation for the rumour. ARRIVAL OF NEW BOAT FOR UNION COMPANY. PROJECTED CHEAP EXCURSIONS TO SYDNEY. DUNEDIN, Yesterday. The Monowai. the latest and largest addit on to the Union Company’s fleet, arrived in pert last night, having left Greenock on *»pril sth. The remarkable feature of the passage is the fact that her engines worked continuously from the hour of her departure till arrival. She will be followed by the Rotokino and Takinui. There is every probability of the Monowai being put on to make cheap excursions to Sydney, via Cook Strait.
