AUCKLAND RACING CLUB’S AUTUMN MEETING.
Auckland, March 25. Mr Evitt last night declared the following weights fortheA.R.C. Autumn Meeting ; Easter Handicap, one mile and a half.
Autumn Steeplechase, about three miles and a-half.
Raglan was brought back from Napier yesterday, having gone amiss. A London Press Association cable says : Although Kirkham finished in front of Plutarch and Narellan in the recent trial, Matthew Dawsoq is of opinion that Narellan is the Better of the trio.
The Holiday Handicap at the Dunedin races yesterday ]was won by Dispute, and the Electric Stakes fell to Lady Bell. In the Trot, the jockey of Miss Nettie, who came in first, could not draw the weight. The stewards are to oonsider the matter. Acceptances and general entries for the Taranaki Autumn Meeting close with Mr H. H. Hayr to-morrow.
