THE NEW ELECTORATES.
WORK OF THE COMMISSION. Wellington, March 22. Theke is very little to add to the tele graphic summary we gave yesterday of the report of the Boundary Commissioners. The boundaries of the electoral district of Waikato were omitted from those we published yesterday, and they are now appended Waikato comprises the countiesof Raglan, Kawhia, West Taupo, Waipa, and Waikato, excepting that portion of the last-named county which is situate west of the road running northerly from the north-west corner of the borough of Cambridge (Victoria Road) to the parish of Tamahere. The borough of Hamilton is included within the boundaries of this electoral district, as also are the town districtsof Ngaruawahia, Te Awamutu, and Kihikihi. The total of population represented in the North Island is 247,217, the total in the South Island 326,347, according to the census of 1886. According to the nominal population, the Bay of Islands (9,199) is the smallest Auckland constituency, Waitemata (10,322) the largest.
