Tho eighth annual report of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company states that, after allowing 5 per cent, on the value of the works for depreciation, there i 8 a credit balance of £2,156 17s 2d. Of this £2,000 is proposed to be expended in paying 6 per cent, dividend, and tho balance carried forward. 232,736 sheep and lambs, and 162 cattle, have been killed at Belfast during the year.
