IRRIGATION IN OTAGO.
Dunedin, March 15. A settler of Lower Ilpwea has forwarded a communication to the L anf l Board, containing a proposal that' 'the Government should grant £5,000 for the purposes of irrigation in that district. The proposal is to take the waters of the Tiraaru Creek through the district.
