TROUBLES ON A BENCH AT GISBORNE. JUDGE BARTOITwiTHDRAWS FROM A CASE. GiapoßNK, I'pb. 15. At tho Native Rand Court, during the progress of an important Waiapu case, Judge Wilson showed objection to questions put to the witnesses hy his colleague, Judge Barton, and intimated that unless certain conduct was desisted from, he would report the matter and would withdraw from the case. Yesterday Judge Barton intimated that he treated Judge Wilson's words as threats, and having carefully considered his position, had decided to withdraw from the case. The litigants have wired the Chief Judge, pointing out the injustice tfctjtwill be done them, apd the expense that will be incurred, unless another judge is appointed at once.
