PUHIPUHI SILVER FIELD
Whangarei, Feb. 13. A local syndicate has purchased the Tamautihinau block of 1,200 acres of land adjoining Puhipuhi, and half a mile from the prospectors’ silver lodes. It is the only freehold block in the district. All the rest is native land that has not yet gone through the Court. The Tamautihinau block lies right along the northern boundary of Puhipuhi, and all the reefs yet found tend towards it. This block is now under offer to Melbourne capitalists.
