At a meeting of the Drainage Board to-day, a series of resolutions were proposed by Mr Brodie, and were adopted, affirming the desirability of testing the deep levels of the Thames, by means of diamond drill ; and Mr Lennox was authorised to convene in Auckland at an early date, a meeting of all those interested in mining, in order to take some definite steps for the development of the low levels.
