COLONIAL DEFENCE
H.M.S. SHAH OFFERED TO NEW SOUTH WALES. London, January 25. The Admiralty have offered to hand over the cruiser H M.s. Shah to New South Wales, to replace the Vernon training ship at Sydney, providing the colony will defray the expense of fitting out the Shah, which will probably cost jQ 2 20,000.
