(Bv Electric Telegraph). (from ouu own correspondent). LATEST FROM AUCKLAND. THE HOME RULE DELEGATES. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Mr John Dillon and Sir Thos. Esmonde arrived in town this afternoon. Both gentlemen speak highly of their trip, through New Zealand. Mr Dillon it is thought will remain here For the San Francisco steamer, and probably Sir Thos. Esmonde will go by the steamer Wainui for Samoa to-morrow. THE PUHIPUBI SILVER FIND. ACTION OF GOVERNMENT CONDEMNED. There is a very bitter feeling throughout the North against the Government in consequence of their determination to close Puhipuhi ferest, and resistance is freely talked of. An indignation meeting was hell la t night at Hikuranyi. THE GOVERNOR AND PARTY COMING TO AUCKLAND FOR JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS. The .Mayor received the following telegram to-day : “ His Excellency the Governor and party, have arranged to he present at your Jubilee celebration E. Mitclielson.”
