Some intereoting figures illustrative of the progress made by Wellington daring the past twelve years have been published. Paring that petind the population ot the city has increased from 15,000 to 29,000, nnd the ratable value from L 160,000 to L 308,000. The entire revenue during the twelve 3’ears has been L 500,000, and the amount, spent on street construction was 1.80,000, on waterworks L 210,000, and on the reclamation L 60,000.
