A meeting of the Te Aioha School Fete Commi tee, was held in the «chooKiionse on Monlay evening. The following being: present : Messrs Lavery, Men?;e, H^athoote, Armit. and Ahier. Misses Psivift (2), G. M.iinsrny, and Johimon. The Chairman of the School Committee, Rev S. Lfiwry, not hpinor present, Mr Livery w>s voted to the chair, anil reported that the suh-Comtnittee, consisting of himself Messrs Hoatiicote and Arinit, appoints! at fcho preceding ineetins? of the Fi»te Committee to select the be?t place for holding the Fete", ha<l come to the conclusion thnt the <»hoice lay between two paiidoclcs, vi^,, thnt known ns Edward's (near old Te A roh n b»»tt ; rv), nnd Marshall's (now leaded by MuKee and Stanley).
