The attendance afc tlio Pakuranga Hunt Club Meeting on Saturday was well up to the average ot outside gatherings. Those speculators who followed the favourites had a bad time, for in each event the " crood tiling" was bowled over. In the Hunt Cup, Pearson made his eflbrfc too late with Raglan, and the horse could get no nearer than third. The most popular win of the day was that of The Dreamer in tho Juvenile Stakes, and the colt's owner was congratulated on all hands. The starting of J\J rE. D. Halstead Mas all that could be desired, and Mr Homy H. Tupaki cut out the running till the straight was i-eached, where Dolosa and Capella passed him, and the latter staying the longest won easily by a length. Dividend, £5.
