FATAL SHIPWRECK. Adeiaide Dec. 11,
The barque Coorong, which arrived here to-day, rescued the crew of the barque Halthall, which was wrecked on a voyage from Rio to Calcutta, at St. Paul Island. The mate o( the unfortunate vessel was drowned. The rest of the crew, who succeeded in reaching the shore, subsisted on eggs, fish and birds, for, eight days, at the expiration of which time they were pictad'up t>y the Coo. rang, . . , •
