Londox, December 10. An agitation has been commenced with the object of bringing about a general strike of London gasmen and porters. The conduct of the strikers is so demonstrative and forcible that it is feared violence may be resorted to. The metropolitan gas companies are boarding and lodging non-Union men who have been given employment in the places formerly filled by the strikers, in order that the may not be interfered with by the malcontents.
