MINING NEWS. Thames, Nov. 23.

Lone Hand.— When further breaking down the reef intersected in the General Chute drive at the low level yesterday, some nice colours of god -vere observed distributed through the quartz, which also carries excellent .mineral in places. The reef is nine inches wide, and is running slightly with the pre&ent course of the drive, while the sandstone in which it is encased is all that could possibly be desired for the existence of gold.
