THE MARIBYRNONG PLATE.
The general entries for the coming V.R.C, Spring Meeting show an increase of nearly 100 over last year. Thirty colfca and fillies have been left in the Maribyrnong Plate. Amongst those that have already distinguished themselves are Magic Circle, Riverina, The Admiral, Correze, Allegro, Hermitage, and the Hon. J. White's Victor Hugo (the full brother to Monto Chrisfco), who distinguished himself in the Caul held Foal Stakes last Saturday. Nordenfeldt is represented by J.* Chaafe's colt King William, purchased at the lant New Zealand Stud Company sale, and the youngster is located at Flemington, under the veteran's care.
