The success of the Hon. J. White's horse* at the A.J.C Meeting and at Caulfield last Saturday has naturally had the effect of Dreadnought and Singapore Boeing & short price for the Victorian Derby and Melbourno Cup, and the pair now occupy the position of honour in the respective quotations for those events. So far as' Auckland is concerned, very little money is obtainable here about the combination, and it is needless to say their early admirers are on good terms with themselvos just now at the bright prospect of the double coming off.
