SYLVIA PARK AGAIN TO THE FORE.
Besides takinsr credit for breeding Tirailleur, the hero of the Hawke's Bay meeting, Pearl Powder, winner of the Nursery Handicap, and Dryad, the runner-up, also hail from Sylvia Park. Pearl Powder was sired by Captivator, which is the first of his progeny to race in this colony, and Dryad was gob by St. Leger from Woodnymph, a daughter of old Sylvia. Sfcrephon, the winner of the Free Handicap, is out of Elfin, who is also one of Sylvia's daughters. The old Fisherman blood will assert itself.
