The dying barber's hands were crossed, He moved his lips in prayer, And uttered as he lay and toeaed : 4 Ihere 11 be no partiug'there !' His work was done ; his weary mind No longer was perplexed fWith visions of the man who whined « Because he Avasn't 'next.*. Across his face so worn with care— There stole a peaceful hush ; He stood onco more beside his chair And feebly murmured 'Brush!' Then all was still : his tired soul " From earthly caros had flown.
