ELLERSLIE NOTES.

The heavy rain that has fallen this week has naturally interfered with training operations at Ellerslie, and the tan track suffered greatly. Kean had eight of his horses on the course on Monday, including Corunna, Ouh'assier, and Leopold, and they were all worked. George Wright has taken Balisba in hand again. Hilda, Cissy, Mary, and Texsum, the remainder of his string, continue to do well, and so does Lady Norah. Major George's two-year-olds, Coalscuttle and Miss Cole, are doing useful work, while Antelope and the other occupants of Harry Harrisons stable aro progt easing satisfactorily.
