TME VICTORIAN DERBY.
Now that the early " form " of the Hon* J. White's three-year-olds has been exposed, we are able to get a lino as to the most likely of his candidates to score victory in the Victorian Blue Riband. Rudolph'srunning goes to show that he is a non-stayer, and I question whether Sinecure can get to the end of a solid journey. Dreadnought, though, is shaping like a good one, and he is evidently far from being wound up ; but Singapore stands out on paper the crack of the lot. Although Sir White has such a strong contingent he will havebigopposition. Richelieu iaa colt whom everybody who has seen him race has a good word for. Ho is said to display the courage of a bulldog whon it comes to a close finish. Thon there is Claude and Silvermere, the Tasmanian cracks, who are doing well at Caulfield, to say nothing of Dunkeld, A'Jorrie England, Carrington. Montalto, Prince Consort, and perhaps Merriment, and several others that are in seclusion.
