The communication leferred to is to the following 1 effect : Schedule of Blocks and numbers of Sections at Te Aroba, which the majority of the Native owners have agreed may be leased at an annual rental or Ll per section for lesidenco site purposes. Block No 11, Sections Nos. 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (situated at the rear of Gallagher's stables) ; Block XXVII, Sections 2, 8, 4, 5, G, 7, 8 (fronting WhitaUer-atroet, towards Waiorougomai.beyondDevey's); 0, 10, Jl, 12, 13, 14, 15, 10 (at rear pf foro£oiiii>, «nd fronting Rewi-street) j Bloik >iXVIII (separated from tfoe last mentioned sections by Rewi-street, and not -j»t cut up), ro be subdivided in a similar manner to Block XXVII. Block No. 111, Sections 8, 4, 5, G, 7, 8 (fronting Rewi-street), 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (fronting Waihou River), 15, 1G (fronting Rolleston-street) ; Block IV, Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 0, 7, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, ] 3, 14. Also, the whole of laud known as the Cultivation Reseive, excepting therefrom the portion included in machine site license (late Stacey's). The above land where not already laid off, to be .subject to survey ttrran^ements being satisfactorily made.
