May Queen. — The contractors have commenced cleaning out and repairing the shaft. Lone Hand. — The reef continues to look well throughout, and colours of gold ax*e frequently seen in the quartz coming to hand. There are about 50 loads of quartz to pass.and crushing was commenced to-day ( at Bull's battery. Saxon. — The reef is still somewhat split up at No. 5 level, but colours of gold continue to bo seen in the quartz.
