The contractors (Grace and party), for putting in a drive 100 feet on the Premier No. 2 reef (towards the junction of the main reef, and known as the upper drive), have | now driven a distance of about fifty feet. Only a portion of the reef is being broken out at present. The contractors (George and party), in the Inverness portion of the ground are also steadily at work.
