PETITIONS.
The following Auckland military service petitions have been presented : — Chas. MeCormick, ot Thames ; J. M. Gilling, of Hamilton; Win. Miller, of Taupiri. The following petitions are also presented : — From David Cunningham, of Awhitu, praying for relief with respect to certain land transactions (Major Hamliu) ; from Joseph Gower, of Hokianga, praying for reduction in the price of deferred payment section (Mr Hobbs) ; from Oeo. F. Vazey, builder, of Grey-street, asking the Government to introduce a measure to enable R.M.s to hear a case with a jury if the plaintiff lodges fees for such jury (Mr T. Thompson).
