THREATENED STONEWALLING.
The city party are organising to oppose the Representation Bill, and threaten a stonewall that will beat the recoicl made by the Maoris last session. I expressed a fear of this to Sir Harry Atkinson yesterday, hinting tliatsuchastonewallmierhtdrag on for a month, but with a grim smile he intimated that he would be quite piepared to crush that sort of thing and the debate would not be likely to be piolongecl over a few dayfe. Iso doubt the Premier was leferring to the amended rules of procedure of which we heard so much before the session opened.
