CRIMINAL EVIDENCE BILL.
This measure, brought in by lU r Hutchison, passed through all its stagos last night, with a few verbal amendments and the addition of a fresh clause which provides that the refusal of the accused to give evidence in deience, or to biing wife or husband to do so, shall not prejudice them in any way.
