Greenhouse. Still give plenty of air on all favourable occasions. Calceolarias and cinerarias which are well advanced, shift into flowering pots ; those which are still coming on give more pot room as they require it. Keep them near the glass, and if the green fly makes its appearance, take steps to have it eradicated at once. A few teeds of hardy annuals can be started in the house, if there is room. When these have attained a height of about three inches they can be hardened off and planted out in the open, where they will flower early. Where artificial heat is available a few coleus cuttings could be struck, and these cuttings will make good pot plants by the end of the year, or they could be utilised for taking off cuttings to make bedding out plants later on. Still water in the mornings.
