THE NEW REPRESENTATION BILL.

The new Representation Bill, which is to be brought down on Tuesday, is simply an amendment of the Act of 1887. The Hare system is sacrificed, and the Government £0 back to the quota of 1881, viz., 25 per cent. The country members will oppose tooth and nail, but the Government are determined to tight the mafcterto the bitterendand when the Bill reaches Committee we may expect some rare fights.
