THE JUMPE R ORANGEMAN".
I understand that J. Rae takes Orangeman down to Christen inch to take part in the Grand National Steeplechase, for which race he has been awarded lOst 51b. The horse has put up a bad reeoid this sea on in the way of "seconds," for out of the 19 races he has started for, ho has occupied that unenviable position no less than eight times. He has only won three races, the best being the A. lt. C. Autumn Steeplechase. Orangeman has been in Raes hands about 2\ years, and during that period the horse has started 44 times, being 14 times first (including one dead heat), 13 times second 5 and 4 times third.
