DIVORCE COURT.

PETITION AGAINST A CLERGYMAN. Wellington, May 8.

At the Divorce Courb to-day in the case of Malcolm v. Malcolm, a wife's petition, a decree nisi was granted. The case of Dodwell v. Dochvell was also a wife's petition against her husband, J. (J. Dodwell, Episcopalian Minister. Mrs Dodwell deposed to respondent's adultery, and stated that she had been driven to the doctors by his immorality. He was in the habit of taking strange women to hotels when he was in Wellington. Evidence to this effect was given by the licensee of the Central Hotel. Dodwell had a cure at Bulls, but two years ago was suspended by the Bishop. A decree nisi with costs was granted.
