Victoria (B.C.)> Juno 1. The Vigilant has seized an American fishing schooner engaged in fishing in waters in the vicinity of Cape North. Washington, June 1.

In connection with the seizure of ah American fishing vtssel, the State officials declare that the American jurisdiction over the Alaskan side of the Behring Sea is absolute, and therefore there is no basis ior parleying. The American revenue steamers Boar and Thetis have been ordered to Behring Sea.
