NEW VALEDONIAN ESCAPEES.

Another man was arrested at Rockhanipton on Tuesday on suspicion of being a New Caledonian escapee, and the police aro after tnree others reported to be camped in the scrub near the hospital. The four men under arrestgive theivnamesas Andrew PanolU, tanner, 25 years of age, belonging to Monaco; Cat lo Federal, aged 30, engineer., Italy; Giovanni Cadano, 45, cook, Italy; and Francisco Givano, bricklayer, Italy. An impression prevails that the Italians are not recidivisms, though the blanket they had when arrested at Mount Morgan is said to be like thoso issued to convicts in New Caledonia. They speak French. Panolli's identity with the party who landed near Yeppoon is also doubted. Information was received to-day that the launch was first seen at Corio Creek on the 12th instant ; that the occupants looked tnoie like Germans than Frenchmen, and spuke English sufficiently well to be understood. The launch 1= 34it 6in long, Tit lin beam, and 6ft deep. Ib is rigged with one mast, had a boiler, and it is of w ood and in bad order. There is no name on it. but the figure 3 is on both bows.
