Death by Drowning.

On Sunday morning lasfc A man nanie\l Charles Gosling was drowned "whilst bathing near Morrinsville, It appears deceased was employed attending Mr Coates thrashing machine, on the Lockerbie Estate for some days previously ; and went to bathe with two others in Topihaiho Greek, near what is known as Coehrane's ford on the morning in question. He suddenly disappeared in about 12 feet of water, and the boily was not recovered for a couple of hours afterwards. Deceased was able to swim. An inquest was held by Mr Serancke, coroner, on Monday, when a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. The body was in tut red in Te Aroha Cemetery ye&terday afternoon.
