London, March 26. Wheat. — The market is weak. There is little demand. New Zea land average is worth 36s 6d per 4961b, landed. Stocks are heavy. Long-berried is worth 30s 9d per 4861b, landed. Stocks light. New Zealand wheat, f.a.q., is worth, c.i.f. off coast, 35s 6d per 4801b nominal value. Leather. — Trtide demand quiet. Best sides are worth lOd per lb. Frozen Meat. — The mutton market is steadier. Canterbury mutton is worth 4d per lb. Wellington mutton is worth 3|d per lb. New 'Zealand beef : Fore-quarters are worth 4d per lb ; hind-quarters are worth 4-|d per lb.
Sydney, March 27. Californian wheat is quoted at 4s lOd to ss. A shipment of 2,000 tons is expected in June, of which 1,800 tons have already been placed at 5s per bushel. Five hundred tons are now being offered at the same price, to arrive. The sample shown is a prime one.
