The quota tions are : New Zealand longberried, 40s per 4961b, landed ; New Zealand, average, 38s per 4961b, landed ; New Zealand, f.a.q,, 35s 9d per 4801b, c.i.f., off coast, nominal. Tallow. — Market better. There is a fair trade demand. Good mutton is worth 29s per cwt, and good beef 275. Frozen Meat. — Market firmer. Canter bury mubton is worth 4d per lb ; Wellington, 3;rd ; New Zealand beef forequarters are worth 3|d, and hindquarters 4|d per lb.
